[FAILURE] 21.0.60 linux-alpha 25 years, 11 months

Unexec doesn't seem to work on alpha linux. Here's what happens: [blah blah...] [...dump temacs] [try to run xemacs] temacs can only be run in -batch mode. This seems to indicate that variables aren't being initialized properly when xemacs starts. Am I the only one seeing this?

ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/xemacs/contrib/gud.el is Steve's XEmacs port of gud.el from Emacs 20.3. Here is patch against it fixing one bug, adding easymenu and making it work both in XEmacs and Emacs. RMS might accept easymenu change to Emacs' gud.el too, but I haven't sent this patch yet to RMS, as I want to hear your comments first. Adrian please test this on windows. Original Emacs-20.3 gud.el had a comment about path-regexp fixed for windows paths, so this might work without your patch. Hello Fabrice, it got too EARLY this morning to give you the success story. I applied your movemail.c and pop.c patches from 21.2b5.diff. Manually I merged the rule for movemail.exe into xemacs.mak, and I defined MAIL_USE_POP in config.h. I will try your new patch in this file later today. Thanks for your help! Adrian PS: Unfortuntely movemail.exe isn't a bit better than the lisp function nnmail-pop3-movemail. It does not support UIDL to retrieve messages which haven't retrieved yet. In fact nnmail-pop3-movemail at least gives a progress report: Retrieving message X of Y from MAILHOST... which movemail.exe doesn't. I hope Andy's work on POP3 mail will be available soon. Something is wrong with native win32 in src/systime.h, because including winsock bugs withe redefinition of dome types. Also, movemail.exe need to be linked to winsock to use pop.
