I don't really see why. Yes it give you information immediately. But
it's not very precise. I think we should work on tools to extract
this kind of information efficiently in XEmacs. From the command
line, just use hg log -r <nodeid>.
But of course it may be a local branch, in which case date gives
strictly more information than a nodeid can. How useful that is, I
don't know.
