Good news was that I managed now to build semantics
with it. A little bad news was that the autoloads build for auctex
fails.
Can you tell me how it fails? I'm not currently building auctex in my
package builds, but I just ran 'make autoloads' in the auctex
directory and it worked fine. I can't remember - is the version of
auctex you're talking about checked into CVS?
So it seems like the autoload hack I did for auctex breaks. The load
path isn't set up properly and it breaks because easy-mmode isn't
found. Haven't got time now to investigate further. That is a problem
of course for the auctex package and not for the patch itself which
seems OK.
easy-mmode is in the xemacs-base package, in case that helps.
