I don't exactly understand your sequence. But the package toplevel pins
every individual package to a specific version, until you commit
*there*, too. (Usually, Norbert does this.)
Here's another question. This new patch contains a top-level
change,
.cvsignore -> .hgignore. I'm not supposed to do top-level pushes,
though, right? I messed things up the last time I did that. Or am I
just not supposed to do recursive top-level pushes?
There's no particular technical problem with that, but you should let
Norbert know what you're doing.
