OK, with that and Rendhalver's report for OpenMotif on FreeBSD (if you
can't crash XEmacs running Gnus, it's OK ;-), I'm going to assume it's
something broken in the newer lesstif. I'll give it a day or so for
more reports to come in.

I think this is a known problem, not yet analyzed.

My nostalgia for Icon makes me forget about any of the bad things. I don't
