This really aggravates me, because I know how much time Steve and I
spent thinking about the involved issues, specifically to avoid any
sort of mess. This has absolutely nothing to do with "want[ing] it
out quickly," (in fact, we designed and implemented all this months
ago), and your statement only shows how little you cared about
following the discussion or actually thinking about the issues
involved.
You've pointed out plenty that you hate the names. So what?
I cannot claim that we didn't make any mistakes designing the current
layout. However, we did put in a design which has been quite
carefully thought out, and there's significant rationale behind it.
If you want to change things, please argue with reference to that
instead of blindly yelling in my direction.
