At work, I run xemacs across the WAN over ssh and firefox locally (I believe, but am not sure, that I don't see this on local xemacsen). Every couple of days, firefox segfaults and this leaves all of my xemacsen off in never-neverland. They sometimes come back hours (really!) later although most of the time I don't have the patience to let them spin that long, so I don't know if they all come back eventually. Killing them with the window manager produces: xemacs: Fatal I/O Error 32 (Broken pipe) on display connection "localhost:13.0" after 646863 requests (646863 known processed) with 874 events remaining. Autosaving and exiting...
