Hi! I have tested Stephen patch for deadlocks for the last four days. I ran XEmacs through (almost) all packages for mail, debugging, dired etc ... No deadlocks any more !! There is occasional and rare freeze every now and then. Stephen, if you think I could help in elevating those in any known manner, please let me knwo and tell me where to look for the possible causes. But those short periods of "freezes" are quite tolerable.
