I have just built a new system and installed Redhat 7.3 Linux

out of the box set.
I installed all the available KDE/Gnome packages and appear to have

latex so I downloaded
the latest stable version 21.1.14 and followed all the build
instructions.
In case you're interested, Red Hat 7.3 comes with pre-packaged XEmacs
21.4.6. I'd recommend using 21.4 over 21.1.

I seem to have core dumps inhibited on this linux installation and
can
not work out how to turn
the facility back on. Please advise if you know how to do this and I
will gladly provide more
debug information.
You might want to do something like "ulimit -c unlimited" in your shell
before starting XEmacs (from the same shell).
