That's right. "man rpm", and get help from Red Hat. Installation via
vendor RPM is not something we _can_ support correctly. Those are
vendor packages, and procedures and breakdown of the library
dependencies and so on will vary by vendor, even those who use RPM.
Alternatively, ask on the user channel, comp.emacs.xemacs. Plenty of
Red Hat users there.
YAP, rm -rf / and install Debian. "apt-get install" does this right.
Debian has its own care-and-feeding issues, of course, YMMV.
