i don't think i am good enough to help you nor to have time to learn,
but i will find plenty of time if you want me to test things, or even
run test cases and report bugs.

JavaScript glue layer that might be a good starting point. It allows
calling Perl from JavaScript and vice versa.
Increasingly, getting javascript'd web pages to even display correctly in
w3 is hellish. :(
