See the documentation for that function for how to customize so that it picks up the right information (basically you have to point it at your build directory). I apologize for the inconvenience, but we _really_ appreciate the extra information it provides. You may be able to use the freshly built XEmacs with src/xemacs; in that case it will automatically find the right information.
