Never mind...I fixed my own problem, thanks to an archive article at
http://www.xemacs.org/list-archives/xemacs-nt/9812/msg00111.html
Basically, the problem was the carat (^) being in the wrong place when
Installation.el was created in xemacs.mak. After that, the build was
successful.

Hey folks,
I'm using Visual C++ 5.0 professional, and every time that I attempt to
build the XEmacs distro for Windows 95 (native version), I keep ending
up with no executable file!
Attached below is my output file. Can anyone make heads or tails of
this before I strangle my Pentium II?
TIA!
