For those of you wanting to test the GTK code, I modified my test makefile
so that it will now build all the variants I could think of. It will build
debug & release versions of gtk-only x11-only tty-only, mule & nomule,
union & nounion.
So on my main server box I end up with a build tree that looks like this
for linux...
./i686-pc-linux/release/tty/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/tty/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/tty/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/tty/mule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/gtk/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/gtk/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/gtk/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/gtk/mule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/x11/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/x11/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/x11/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/release/x11/mule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/tty/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/tty/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/tty/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/tty/mule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/gtk/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/gtk/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/gtk/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/gtk/mule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/x11/nomule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/x11/nomule/union/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/x11/mule/nounion/config.status
./i686-pc-linux/debug/x11/mule/union/config.status
Ditto for i386-unknown-freebsd4.2 and sparc-sun-solaris2.7
Granted, it takes a while to build all of those variants, but they can all
be built from the same source tree, etc. This is a good way to chew up
disk space on my new 80 gig raid array here. 72 variations of XEmacs do
tend to chew it up pretty fast. :)
