Greetings, Some time ago I decided that I hate typing over a modem. As a result I wrote a cheesy perl script to send my editing requests back to my local machine's xemacs session. I then discovered that sometimes gnuclient fails because my modem sucks and my request gets lost in the ether. So, I changed it to add a few alternatives. In any event, I thought folks here might find it useful. I use it as my $EDITOR variable, which makes cron over a modem much less infuriating as well as mutt.
