*chuckle* I don't use --quick-build, and I don't know what targets
people who do are using. That's why I'm sluffing the detective work.
There is no bug here, just an issue of consistency with common
practice. I won't go so far as Emerson; consistency is a good thing.
But I'm not willing to risk breaking what doesn't need fixing for the
sake of consistency. Cf. the "Remove GNUish := from modules
Makefiles" thread for the kind of thing that you can end up with.
