Also, updates to core XEmacs and mega-package could be made
separately. It might make sense to update the mega-package once a
month, regardless of new XEmacs release. It might even be possible to
write a script that combines the list of common packages into a
mega-package on the first of every month.
sumo generation is scripted on
cvs.xemacs.org now. There's only a
small amount of tweaking, mostly in terms of cron and procmail, to
finish it off.
Just a thought.
