It's not only that "Click on the scrollbar ..." problem, it's even not
scrolling if I just press PgDown (`next' which runs `scroll-up-command').
Both has worked with 21.2.19.
What's that gnuserv crash you were talking about? Is the keypress sequence
really M-x # or did you mean C-x # ? In the latter case, this works fine
for me.

I still have that very annoying scrolling misbehaviour in 21.2 that
I
reported a while ago:

Unfortunately, there has been almost no response and I haven't found any
solution for this - `scroll-up' hasn't worked for me in any beta since
21.2.19 under AIX 4.3.2, although it's ok on Linux. I assume there aren't
I think it was broken further back than that. I'm assuming you're
referring
to the "click on the scrollbar and it does a XGrabKeyboard and then scrolls
all the way to the top"? I started looking into that one and couldn't see
HOW the code differed for scroll down (which works) and scroll up (which
doesnt)....
In any case, it's still there as of -b31.
There's also a crash relating to gnuserv closing a window when you use
M-x #, but I've not gotten into chasing that one down yet...
