Hi, everybody,
First of all many thanks for all the good work.
Then the grisly details... :) :)
I'm trying to use the new package interface, but i ran into a lot of
problems mostly due to "unexpected" package dependencies.
If I install the sumo tarball everything is ok, but otherwise...
Currently I have a problem with add-change-log-entry.
I discovered it needs mail-lib, but that doesn't seem to be enough,
since it complains with:
"Wrong type argument: sequencep, mcondarelli(a)soft-in\.com"
and I don't know what else is missing ;^(
(by the way: is there a way to paste that kind of messages? if I try
to select it it disappears).
Another different (but quite annoying) i noticed with the latest (???)
"20 minutes to Nikko" (linux, Mule) version (on a P266) is that
"sometimes" (I wasn't able to define exactly when, but the machine is
not loaded at all) deleting (I'm using delete-key-delete-forward, if
that matters) becomes very slow, so autorepeated keys accumulate and
the deleting continues (several seconds and up to a couple of full
lines) after i release the delete (or backspace) key.
Any idea of why that's happening and how to pinpoint the problem?
TIA
Mauro
