Calendar will likely need a different Hrvoje> patch. well, i was hoping it would fix it if it was a problem with calendar. the thing is, I see "loading cl-macs" long before I even have an xemacs I can do a C-x C-f in. i'll keep poking around and look at it more tonight. jeff
