on by default... or maybe I have it switched on someplace?), type
`hel' and push `M-Tab'. It signals an error.
Yes, it's on by default, but no, it doesn't signal an error to me. I
use "ispell.el 3.0 -- Fri Mar 20 13:25:59 PST 1998".
