We need a C backtrace. If the crash left a core file, "gdb `which
xemacs' core", then "where" will give the backtrace. It _is_ possible
to use gdb interactively with "gdb ... | tee gdb.out", except that
you can't use the internal pager.
If you didn't get a core, do ulimit -c unlimited in bash, then start
XEmacs.
Of course I'll try to replicate, but these things tend to be
intermittent, and if you have a core file already it makes things
easier.
You can also run xemacs under gdb, but that is annoying and tends to
slow things down and may result in memory leaks.
