next update, these pre-idle-hook messages will become more verbose.

i'm running the latest cvs of 21.2.
using gnus in a prior build, if i used # to mark an article, the
article would be marked, and the cursor would be moved to the next
article.
now, i hit # and the article is marked, but the cursor does not move
down to the next article.
In fact, if i mark an article, use the arrow key to move down, mark
that article, the cursor jumps back up to the top of the summary
buffer.
I don't see any error messages or anything like that.
The only error I do see, is when running vm. When it starts up, I get
a bunch of "error in font-lock-pre-idle-hook" messages.

In order to save my hands, I am cutting back on my mail. I also write
as succinctly as possible -- please don't be offended. If you send me
mail, you _will_ get a response, but please be patient, especially for
XEmacs-related mail. If you need an immediate response and it is not
apparent in your message, please say so. Thanks for your understanding.
