i'm running the latest cvs of 21.2. using gnus in a prior build, if i used # to mark an article, the article would be marked, and the cursor would be moved to the next article. now, i hit # and the article is marked, but the cursor does not move down to the next article. In fact, if i mark an article, use the arrow key to move down, mark that article, the cursor jumps back up to the top of the summary buffer. I don't see any error messages or anything like that. The only error I do see, is when running vm. When it starts up, I get a bunch of "error in font-lock-pre-idle-hook" messages. Jeff
