XEmacs Users System: SunOS sciences 5.8 Generic_108528-12 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80 Architecture: sun4 I encountered a problem with xemacs suddenly last week. When I staart it with -nw option things are fine. But when I use the usual to get a separate xwindow it gets stuck and leaves me a nblank screen. The last thing appearing in the window is loading x-win-xfree86 done In gnome the icon for the process says "shell" instead of "emacs" I also found it very hard to kill the process kill -10 worked sometimes and then I got a core dump and was told to send this message .
