About irix:
- irix 6.2, 6.4, 6.5, 6.5SE, 6.5.1 : XEmacs compiles out of box with
all the compilers I could put my hands on in any compilation mode
(32 ou 64 bits).
O.K.
- irix 6.3 : various reports, nothing clear, most fuckage seemed
to
happen because of SGI's graphic libraries and it should be gone now.
O.K.
- irix 5.3 : Darren Stalder talked about giving access (I was
said
volunteer) but dissepeared just after his mail. I have one or two
ideas about what the problem is, but it seems to be impossible to
reproduce it on 6.x. I plan to go and try doing something about it
in a week or two.
O.K.
Sidenote: 90% of the irix problems I saw were due to the
undumping
process. The remaining 10% where non-64bits clean code. The
undumping is going to go, and the 64bitedness problems seems to be
fixed.
O.K.
Colin and Olivier, I'm happy to stand corrected regarding this
platform too.
