We don't have enought resources to do development as it is let alone
provide detailed support.
Your point being? If Microsoft puts out a product, those who buy it
should turn to Microsoft for support. If the number of people
familiar with a basically emacs-like beast grows, there's a good
chance that a lot of them will turn to the free software community,
both as users and as developers.
In any case, if growth in size of the emacs-using community is seen as
bad, then I'm confused.
