I noticed that öut of the boxš highlighting with the mouse (or using set-mark -- to point, as well as pasting text from xemacs into, e.g., Mozilla, seems to be broken. The error message is (see end of file): Symbol's value as variable is void: region Fiddling a bit with customizations Options->Advanced->Emacs I managed to get it to work for a while, and although I saved the custom.el file, it was lost on the next startup. I cannot remember what I did to fix it, though. I presume that with the very complicated choice of customizations, it should be possible to get back to standard behavior, but how? This happens both in a --with-gtk build and in the standard build with the Lucid widgets. Also, the sound stopped working (it was working fine in 21.5.12) And yes, the time-display (in the gtk-build) still gets messed up after a while, -- the italic digits becomme fatter and fatter, but can the restored with a C-l command.
