Well, I certainly agree that correctness is important. However, my
personal position remains the same. I cannot evaluate the necessity
of the patch to XEmacs.rules without the updated package.
If it's possible to actually use the package, but it's "maybe" missing
some autoloads, then there's nothing to stop a commit of the package
except yours and Uwe's unwillingness to do so. You can always use a
CVS branch, you know, if you want to limit checkouts to people who
explicitly ask for it.
