ldap.el fails to compile

        Oscar, ldap.el now fails to compile with the message:

While compiling toplevel forms in file /home/martin/x/build/mop/lisp/ldap.el:
  !! error (("Lisp nesting exceeds `max-lisp-eval-depth'"))
Done

Although this could be a bug in XEmacs itself, could you take a look
at this?

A custom expert might also want to take a look at this, since that is
a likely source of the problem.
