The last time I built the packages (2/17), here's what I found: 1. Yoshiki's patch fixed the "Invalid read syntax" errors. 2. I still got the efs build problem: While compiling toplevel forms in file /usr/local/build/xemacs-packages-2000-02-17/libs/efs/efs-vm.el: !! File error (("Cannot open load file" "vm")) Done 3. Of the other problems, only the VHDL problem remained: While compiling toplevel forms in file /usr/local/build/xemacs-packages-2000-02-17/prog/vhdl/vhdl-mode.el: !! File error (("Cannot open load file" "assoc")) Done I will re-build the packages now. BTW, I use a 21.1.9 mule-enabled XEmacs for building the packages, in case that matters. - vin
