So far it seems to work. I downloaded the tar-balls and made a clean
installation. I got a few complains about 'cast between pointer-to-object
and pointer-to-function' (especially in eval.c and specifier.c), but from
what I understood they shouldn't matter, or should they? 

However one little thing, package-get.el use file-installed-p, which are
not in the core distribution, but in the apel-package. Shouldn't it be
moved to the core distribution or the xemacs-base?  
Oops - this is my fault. Can it be moved Steve? Or should I code something
different?
