Dear Bug Team! on my Windows machine, I have ActivePerl installed and a .pl script extension associated with it, so that I can just type ``script.pl'' on the command line and have ``perl script.pl'' executed. This works from the cmd window, but not from the XEmacs shell (which is using cmd) - and worse, XEmacs does not indicate that anything's wrong...
