[since several people seem to have forced my hand... <grin>]
Announcing the preliminary XEmacs bug tracking system.
In an attempt to start to manage the flood of messages relating to
bugs in XEmacs, we have deployed a Jitterbug server at
http://cvs.xemacs.org/XEmacs-bugs. Please take a look if you're
interested. I am intending to (when I get the time) adapt the
Postgres bug-tracking system I use here at my office and at some point
replace Jitterbug with that, but as our system has no e-mail
capability, it'll take quite a bit of tweaking.
Anthony is currently rewriting emacsbugs.el to fill out an email form
properly for submission to Jitterbug, and hopes to have that done shortly.
If any of you are interested in assisting Anthony, Steve and I in
dealing with the avalance of bugs that will flow through the system,
please contact me to get a username and password for the system.
As always, I welcome all comments!
