In XEmacs 21.4 (patch 4) "Artificial Intelligence" [Lucid] (i686-pc-linux, Mule) of Sat Jul 28 2001 on barbar.josefsson.org configured using `configure --with-mule --with-file-coding' Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: Often when I debug (edebug) elisp code the highlight paren becomes fubar. What happens: placing cursor on a ) makes the parens blink very fast (much faster than usual). Also, when moving about in a function, the paren highlights sticks. Also, some parens seem to be hidden, and only show when I move the cursor over them. A screenshot is available from http://josefsson.org/xemacs214-bug.gif. The parens a few characters to the left of the cursor are ) parens but they aren't showed unless I move the cursor over them.
