well, i don't know anything about it, but i don't really believe this. i imagine
you can just select() yourself on the X socket, then look at the event and see what
window it's destined for, and use this to determine which next-event routine to
call.
but that might be complicated, and not really worth it.

They are completely #%!@ed in terms of their event loops co-existing. gtk
barely looks like an X app, much less a well behaved Xt app.
