I'm pretty sure that this was working a few days ago, but it's possible that when I thought I was testing stuff on 21.5 I could have been in 21.4 and not realised. :-) With XEmacs 21.4.12, if you: xemacs -batch -no-autoloads -eval '(princ emacs-version)' You'll get something like: 21.4 (patch 12) "Portable Code" XEmacs Lucid But do the same thing with 21.5 and you get squat.
