I solved it for myself by changing my script (pipe through tee). I
think I'll leave the packages as they are right now. There can't be
all that many people building Latin-Unity and Mule-UCS from XEmacsen
= 21.4 from a script. :-)
A comment in Local.rules.template about running XEmacs from a script
or alias MUST output to stdout would probably be a good idea.

Oh, I dunno, depends on how big a RAM disk, how reliable your power
source, and how dangerously you like to live :-P
