Somebody should talk to Michael Sperber and see if the wdired
enhancements can be added to our dired, which he maintains.
I think right now Michael is very busy, I asked him about difficulties I
encountered with the new org mode version and he told me "at some point
in the future".
By the way, please don't use "application/emacs-lisp".
An
"application" MIME type implies that just displaying the program to
the user requires interpreting (ie, executing) the content. I know
the GNU/Gnus people disgree, but they're wrong. It's also rude to
people who don't use Gnus to read their mail, because it's
non-standard and implemented only in Gnus as far as I know. And it's
unnecessary, since the usual methods for automatic detection of
editing mode (eg, a -*- mode: emacs-lisp -*- comment) are available,
and can be used to highlight the code if desired.
Sigh, just a couple of days I sent a attachment to the org mailing list
and was told to use this extension. Application/octet-stream
is not a good choice, so text/plain then?
