1.9.29 was released on July 29th.
You basically install 1.9 and then install 1.9.28
or whatever (which is just cvs.exe) on top of it.
The newer versions now do all of the RCS stuff internally
(i.e.,
they have the RCS & patch(1) code built-in, and no longer call RCS
commands or the patch(1) program as external processes).
I was under the impression that 1.9 was the stable version and the
1.9.XX's were less tested betas, but I can't find any warnings now
offhand. Are the latest releases stable?
