The EFS problem is still there. This is what happens (help: lossage)
after C-x C-f /supreme@schauer:/home/schauer
Loading efs-dump...done
Loading efs...

.. and then I wait for half an hour. After that I do a C-g:
Kill ftp process and buffer? (y or n, c to only close process)
This is what is shown in the ftp-buffer:

After that I can re-execute the command and happily use
efs on supreme. Strange, isn't it ? Needless to say that ftp.exe
(NT 4SP4)is used and works on command-line.
Finally, as you can see, build-report becomes a little bit confused
about where it should find the Installation file on a native NT build.
XEmacs Build Report as generated
by build-report-version 1.35 follows:
OS: Windows_NT
XEmacs 21.1.3 \"Acadia\" configured for `i386-pc-win32'.
Where should the build process find the source code?
D:\\local_sorces\\xemacs-21\\xemacs-21.1.3\\nt
What compiler should XEmacs be built with?
@cl -nologo
What window system should XEmacs use?
MS Windows
D:\local_sorces\xemacs-21\xemacs-21.1.3\nt\../Installation does not
exist!
D:\local_sorces\xemacs-21\xemacs-21.1.3\nt\../beta.err does not
exist!
