The issue with 

<http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-patches/200304/msg00017.html>

is still there. The infinite loop has been fixed, but the font-locking
doesn't work properly. At least javadoc-comments are not shown with
correct color in jde-mode. Also that patch does fix it with the cvs
head.
