This problem is endemic. Basically all the developers except Gunnar
Evermann (including me, I promised him help, but the release got in
the way) are ignoring the BTS. There are on the order of 1000 open
bugs in there; obviously Gunnar can't handle them all himself.

Good! I mean, that's too bad, but if you could find a simple recipe
to repeat the problem, post it here, we'll have a much better chance
at isolating it. If you have nothing else, please repost the report

My deepest apologies; I'll take a look at systematizing this stuff in
a few days, and I'll look at your bug at some point regardless of what
you do, but I've _got_ to get release stuff out now, and then do some
