Sure, F1 works. But I don't really want to globally use ^H for
erase. Why can't I rebind the damn key in XEmacs?
vcorrect me if i'm wrong, but i think i remember something about emacs
not being able to differenciate BS key and C-h for some old reason.
i read that in o'reilly book about writting elisp modules for emacs.
and i was surprised because it always worked for me under xemacs.
i have emacs installed at university and i just got used to forgetting
BS, because it has the same key value than Del (which is even different
but still not gutt)
what i say is that i _think_ it is not possible to make the difference
in tty mode, for the same reason that emacs cannot do it ?
please correct me if i'm wrong, because then i might use the trick to
make it work at school and save hours of labour :)
