Environment: SGI Irix 6.5.6m CVS snapshot from today I had been experiencing some crashes with 21.2b27 and various CVS snapshots - however, even though I had built with debugging and full error checking, I never got a useful core or anything else useful other than a cheerful "Memory fault" so I figured I might as run fully optimized (then at least I can start back up quickly after a crash :) anyway, a couple of times I've seen XEmacs run off like a crazed weasel - but there was never saw any useful info, so I'd just shoot the poor creature and move on this morning I did a cvs update, rebuilt, and eventually triggered the crazed weasel syndrome - but this time I could read the info in the minibuffer as it flickered wildly: XEmacs bug: subwindow is deleted: #<image-instance (widget) on #<x-device on ":0.0" 0x1c27> (#<face buffers-tab "Face for displaying the buffers tab.">)Buffers 735x21 on #<x-fra Andy, is this related to what you were trying to tell me about setting buffers-tab-face? Recall that I tried setting it using customize, which did this: (custom-set-variables '(buffers-tab-face (quote modeline))) I don't know if this was useful at all... -JT -- John A.
