I recently sanitized the texinfo files in the XEmacs core. This means
making sure they build with:
texinfo-3.12
texinfo-3.12f
texinfo-4.0
texi2dvi
It would be good if someone did the same for the packages. It would
be further good if all the release engineers (moiself, Vin, and
Andreas) would do this in an automated fashion for every release.

If you decide to do this, you can get access to my machine to do the
testing with all the .texi file processing programs.
