Installing these:
=================
The easiest way: [1]
Tools -> Packages -> Add Download Site -> Pre-Releases
Tools -> Packages -> List and Install
RET on the packages you wish to install
Packages -> Install Selected
Not so easy ways:
M-x pui-list-packages RET
q
M-x customize-variable RET package-get-download-sites RET
insert a new one
Name - whatever you think is appropriate
Host -
ftp.xemacs.org
Directory - pub/xemacs/beta/experimental/packages
save that
Proceed as for "The easiest way" [2]
Old fashioned boring way:
download them and unpack them into
<emacs-roots>/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/
<emacs-roots>/lib/xemacs/mule-packages/
Footnotes:
[1] XEmacs 21.2 latest CVS with efs and xemacs-base installed
required to do this.
[2] If you are using 21.1 use Options -> Manage Packages instead
of Tools -> Packages.
