The current FAQ maintainer is Christian Nyb. I don't know if he
is
temporarily unresponsive due to current obligations, or he no longer
has time for day-to-day updates. Either way, your help is very
welcome.
I'd be happy to work with him or anyone else on this.
Do you have any specific ideas of what you'd like to add/fix, or
would
you like suggestions? I myself have worked on the FAQ in the past, so
I have a few ideas about what to do with it long-term, but it's a long
story for a separate message.
Here's a starter list of things to be done:
* Fix the bad URLs. I have a patch into xemacs-patches for that.
* Fix the clearly wrong information
* Fix the somewhat wrong information
* Add a few more questions by reading xemacs-beta, xemacs-nt, and
comp.emacs.xemacs (Windows printing, Windows location of .emacs, etc)
* Make the version on the XEmacs web page look like the rest of the site,
like John suggested.
Long term
* Add, delete, modify current list of questions
* I'd like to see more information about using MULE
* Perhaps having some or all the questions avaialble in other languages
