To the Maintainers of Irchat Hi Everbody! I am releatively new to the world of IRC. So far I have used zenirc to chat from within my beloved XEmacs. irchat was recommended to me at http://my.gnus.org and I gave it a try. Now I am interested to learn whether it is still actively maintained. If so, I would like to probe your interest in making it a standard XEmacs package, available via http://www.xemacs.org There is the choice that the irchat maintainers also update the XEmacs package with future changes. Alternatively the XEmacs Development Team may be willing to perform this task. I could help to make this a proper XEmacs package, which should be a minor integration issue. Now a user question: Does irchat 3.05 support font-locking of some sort? My research so far leads me to believe this not to be the case.
