This is not true for me. Of the two Ebola warnings I remember
seeing
in the last 6 months, the one in AUC-TeX is due to use of
`previous-char' instead of `char-before' (a distant cousin of Ebola),
I thought the consensus on replacement of `previous-char' with
`char-before' was to _not_ do it, since `previous-char' isn't
broken any more.
