The Debian "calc" package (for GNU Emacs) contains the following
changelog entry in the Debian changelog:
calc (2.02f-18) unstable; urgency=low
* The units table defines a unit named "Wh" (Watt hour), with definition
"W h". This is incorrect; "W" means Watt, but "h" is
Planck's
constant. The correct definition would be "W hr". closes: Bug#214685

... and I am wondering if a similar patch was made to the XEmacs version
of calc?

Doesn't look like it. Patches gratefully accepted. :-)
