This bug report will be sent to the XEmacs Development Team,
not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the XEmacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
Please describe as succinctly as possible:
- What happened.
- What you thought should have happened.
- Precisely what you were doing at the time.
Please also include any C or lisp back-traces that you may have.

Dear Bug Team!
Entering the command 'tshell' makes XEmacs go bonkers: the tshell buffer is
strewn with text that looks as if a binary file had been dumped into the
buffer (ascii strings and a lot of whitespace). Doing this command with my
local configuration loaded and things like gnus running hangs XEmacs (it grabs
the cpu and can only be kill by sending it SIGTERM).
Applying this command to 'xemacs -q' is not soo bad: in this case xemacs can
be terminated using C-x C-z, as usual.

Hi Ernst
I'm not sure what is causing your problem. I can say that tshell is
annoyingly hard to set up.
As an alternative, try: 'M-x eshell RET'. Eshell is a "shell"
implemented entirely in lisp. It's really cool. :-)
